How It Works

When you sign up for the Tikes Garden Box, each month you can expect to receive a ready-to-build garden project. We provide you and your young gardener with the right components, properly portioned and the right techniques visually illustrated. Our goal is to make it easy for each child to experience growing success.

And remember, don't be hampered by the weather. Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall, we'll provide a seasonal Tikes Garden Box experience, for indoors or out. Let's get growing!

Learning By Doing

Monthly boxes contain everything kids need to assemble and grow little themed gardens: herbs & fruit plants, perennials, houseplants, aquatics, and much more. Young plant lovers will learn about nature by exploring it firsthand.

Educational Opportunities Beyond the Garden

Gardening provides a wonderful opportunity to learn problem-solving and  math skills, including counting, geometry, percentages, and data  gathering. Kids begin learning these skills as they measure for soil and water needs. Children can learn numbers and practice basic counting skills by counting the seeds needed  and the number of plants that sprout. Older children can  collect data and create charts and graphs to keep track of things with their plants. Get them growing today!
